Pasta with Halloumi (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons of sweet paprika, smoked.
02 - 250g of cherry tomatoes.
03 - 300g pasta, pick your favorite type.
04 - A pinch of salt and black pepper.
05 - 500g passata (sieved tomatoes).
06 - 3 garlic cloves, minced or crushed.
07 - 1 onion, chopped finely.
08 - 300g broccoli, florets roughly chopped.
09 - 450g halloumi cheese, cut into chunks.
10 - 2 spoons of olive oil.

# Instructions:

01 - Boil your pasta in salted water and get it going first.
02 - After a few minutes, toss the broccoli into the pasta pot.
03 - In a hot pan, brown the halloumi chunks with a splash of oil for about 5 minutes.
04 - Move the fried halloumi onto a plate and keep it nearby for later.
05 - Use the leftover oil in the pan to soften up the garlic and onion.
06 - Stir passata, paprika, and those sweet tomatoes into the softened onions.
07 - Let the sauce bubble gently under a lid for 5 minutes.
08 - Remove your pasta and broccoli from the pot and let the water drain off.
09 - Mix up the hot pasta and broccoli with that rich sauce in the pan.
10 - Spread the golden halloumi over the top before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Use less halloumi to lower calories.
02 - Keep an eye on the pasta—cooking times may vary!
03 - Add broccoli later if you like it crunchier.
04 - Tastes best fresh, so dig in right away!
