Perfect Fruit-Infused Water (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 whole grapefruit (7 ounces).
02 - A handful of fresh blackberries, 1 1/4 cups (6 1/4 ounces).
03 - Three tablespoons of sage leaves, fresh (about 1/2 ounce).
04 - 8 cups total of chilled water, split into portions.

# Instructions:

01 - Take the grapefruit, cut it lengthwise, and slice into thin crescent shapes.
02 - Stir together 1 cup of water, a portion of the sliced grapefruit, 1 cup of blackberries, and 2 tablespoons of sage in a large bowl. Then squish it all until softened.
03 - Pour 3 cups of water into the mixture you’ve mashed. Cover it and let it chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to an hour.
04 - Using a fine strainer, pour the mixture into a large pitcher. Push on the solids to squeeze out as much liquid as you can.
05 - Pour in the last 4 cups of water. Toss in the extra fruit and sage as decoration before serving over ice.

# Notes:

01 - It’s best to enjoy this within a day.
02 - Wait to add decorations until just before serving.
03 - Try using alternative fruits if you want variety.
