01 -
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grab a 9×13-inch dish. Spray it lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
02 -
Use a big skillet over medium heat. Toss in the beef and onion, breaking up the meat as it cooks. Once browned, drain extra grease. Mix in the garlic, soups, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth. Melt 1 cup of shredded cheese into the mix, and then turn off the heat.
03 -
Spread the meat mixture evenly in the dish you prepped earlier. Top it off with the last cup of shredded cheese.
04 -
Stir together the biscuit mix (skip the seasoning for now), cheddar cheese, and milk in a big bowl. Mix until the batter’s mostly smooth, then pour it across the top of the meat mix.
05 -
Put the dish in the oven, uncovered, and bake for 50-55 minutes. Watch for a golden-brown top on those biscuits.
06 -
Combine the seasoning packet with melted butter to make a glaze. Brush this over the baked biscuits. Let it sit for about 5 minutes, giving the filling time to set. Toss on some parsley if you like, and enjoy!
