Sweet Garlic Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 3-4 chicken breasts, without skin or bones
02 - Pepper and salt to taste

→ Sweet Garlic Sauce

03 - 1 tablespoon water
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon thyme (dried)
07 - 1/4 teaspoon pepper, ground
08 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F. Coat the inside of a baking dish with non-stick spray and sprinkle salt and pepper onto both sides of your chicken breasts.
02 - Mix together water, garlic powder, brown sugar, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Stir well so everything blends into a tasty glaze.
03 - Lay the seasoned chicken in the baking dish and evenly pour the garlic-brown sugar mixture over the top. Let it bake in the oven.
04 - Cook in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken hits 165°F when checked with a meat thermometer. The sauce will turn into a rich, glossy finish.
05 - Remove the cooked chicken from the oven and plate it up. Spoon some of that flavorful sauce from the dish over the top. It’s great poured on rice or pasta too!
