Creamy Smothered Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2/3 cup cooking oil.
02 - 2 pounds drumsticks or thighs.
03 - 1 cup milk.
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika.
05 - 1 tablespoon powdered onion.
06 - 1 large onion, chopped.
07 - 1 teaspoon chicken base.
08 - 1 teaspoon poultry spice.
09 - 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour.
10 - 1 teaspoon ground garlic.
11 - 1 teaspoon ground pepper.
12 - Another teaspoon salt.
13 - 1 teaspoon ground salt.
14 - Parsley leaves for looks.
15 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder.
16 - 2 cups cooking broth.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine flour with spices, hold back 3 spoonfuls.
02 - Dunk chicken into flour-crust blend.
03 - Heat oil and fry chicken until golden and crispy.
04 - Pull out chicken, leave oil in the pan.
05 - Toss onions into the pan and let them soften.
06 - Sprinkle the saved flour over and stir it in.
07 - Slowly add broth along with seasoning while whisking.
08 - Pour in milk and let it bubble.
09 - Place the chicken pieces back inside the pan.
10 - Pop a lid on and let it cook for 30 minutes.

01 - Don’t put too much in the pan at once.
02 - Works best with chicken legs or thighs.
