# Ingredients:

→ Veggie Stir-Fry

01 - 1 medium onion, sliced thin
02 - 1 green bell pepper, sliced thin
03 - 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
04 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
05 - 1 pound flank steak, sliced thin across the grain
06 - 2 tablespoons oil for cooking

→ Savory Sauce

07 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
08 - 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
10 - 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar
11 - 2 tablespoons water
12 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
13 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
14 - 1 clove garlic, minced
15 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
16 - 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper if using. Put the mixture to the side for now.
02 - Warm up a tablespoon of oil in a wide pan on medium to high heat. Toss in the beef slices and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove them from the pan when done.
03 - Use the rest of the oil and heat it up in the same pan. Toss in the onion and bell peppers. Cook them while stirring for about 4-5 minutes until they soften but still have some crunch.
04 - Put the cooked beef back into the pan. Pour in the sauce and stir to coat everything evenly. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce looks thicker.
05 - Enjoy it warm over some noodles or rice. If you'd like, sprinkle sesame seeds or chopped green onion on top.

# Notes:

01 - Using various colors of peppers makes it look prettier.
02 - Need a swap? Use hoisin sauce or extra soy sauce instead of oyster sauce.
03 - Want it gluten-free? Use tamari instead of regular soy sauce.
