Put a piece of parchment paper on a sheet tray.

Slice the pound cake into thick pieces, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches each.

Take each slice and use a small round cutter to punch out two circles. Lay them on the lined tray.

Follow the package instructions to melt your vanilla Candiquik or other candy coating.

Drizzle a spoonful of melted coating onto each cake round. Spread over the top and sides until fully coated. Repeat if necessary to get full coverage.

Add a fun handful of sprinkles to the tops of the coated rounds while the coating is still soft.

After the coating has set, take a sharp knife and carefully trim away any extra candy coating from the edges of each bite.
