Peanut Butter Swirl Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup peanut butter, smooth.
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.
03 - 1 large egg.
04 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed.
05 - 1/2 cup white sugar.
06 - 1/2 cup butter, softened.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt.
08 - 1 teaspoon soda for baking.
09 - 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened).
10 - 1 cup plain all-purpose flour.

# Instructions:

01 - Spoon blobs of peanut butter into dough, then use a knife to swirl it around softly for a marbled look.
02 - Put the dough in the fridge with a lid on it. Leave it there at least an hour to chill!
03 - Turn oven on to 350°F first. Drop dough on baking sheets lined with paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes until they’re set but still soft.
04 - Combine the flour, salt, cocoa powder, and baking soda using a whisk.
05 - Whip the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beating until smooth. Slowly mix the dry ingredients in.
06 - Cool cookies on the sheet for five minutes first. Move them over to a wire rack to finish cooling.

# Notes:

01 - Try warming peanut butter if it’s too hard to swirl.
02 - Toasting peanut butter’ll make it nuttier.
03 - Using a scoop makes all your cookies turn out the same size.
