Heat up the water in a small kettle or pot until it boils. Toss in the lavender, cover the pot, move it off the heat, and let it rest for 5 minutes.

While waiting for the lavender to steep, gently heat the milk on the stove until it's hot but not bubbling over.

Pour the strained lavender mixture into a big pitcher. Add the hot milk and mix well. Sweeten with honey, sugar, or even a splash of vanilla if you'd like.

Pour into mugs for a cozy hot drink, or chill it and serve over ice for a cool and refreshing twist.
