Korean Strawberry Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Strawberry Syrup

01 - About 2 cups (~300 g) of chopped strawberries
02 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon honey
04 - 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

→ Macerated Strawberries

05 - 1 tablespoon sugar
06 - 1 cup (~150 g) of diced strawberries

→ For Serving

07 - About 3-4 cups of your favorite milk
08 - Plenty of ice cubes

# Instructions:

01 - Put the diced strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice into a small pot. Turn the heat to high until it boils, then drop it to medium and let it bubble gently for 10 minutes. It should thicken up and come together like a syrup. Once done, cool it down in the fridge before using.
02 - Mix the chopped strawberries with sugar so they’re coated well. Chill this in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, allowing it to get juicy.
03 - Spoon 3-4 tablespoons of the chilled strawberry syrup (adjust based on how sweet you want it) into a glass. Add a tablespoon of macerated strawberries, a handful of ice, and fill the glass with about a cup of milk. Serve it right away.

# Notes:

01 - This chilled Korean strawberry milk is a lifesaver during hot days. It’s creamy, flavorful, and loaded with sweet strawberry bits.
02 - You can choose any milk you like — almond, soy, dairy, oat — they all work great.
03 - Keep the leftover strawberry syrup in a tightly sealed container in the fridge. It’s good for up to one week.
04 - If you want it to look extra nice, slip in a couple of fresh strawberry slices as decoration.
