Put the diced strawberries, honey, sugar, and lemon juice into a small pot. Turn the heat to high until it boils, then drop it to medium and let it bubble gently for 10 minutes. It should thicken up and come together like a syrup. Once done, cool it down in the fridge before using.

Mix the chopped strawberries with sugar so they’re coated well. Chill this in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, allowing it to get juicy.

Spoon 3-4 tablespoons of the chilled strawberry syrup (adjust based on how sweet you want it) into a glass. Add a tablespoon of macerated strawberries, a handful of ice, and fill the glass with about a cup of milk. Serve it right away.
