Garlic Butter Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Key Ingredients

01 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped super fine
02 - Four salmon portions, each about 6 oz
03 - 4 tbsp of unsalted butter

→ Flavors and Toppings

04 - Lemon wedges to serve on the side
05 - Freshly ground black pepper and salt, to taste
06 - 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp dried parsley
07 - Juice from half a lemon (about 1 tbsp)

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the salmon dry using paper towels. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over both sides generously.
02 - In a large skillet on medium heat, stir the butter around until it melts and starts bubbling. Watch carefully so it doesn’t burn.
03 - Put the salmon fillets into the skillet with the skin side (if there’s skin) facing down. Let them cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes until the edges get crispy.
04 - Flip the salmon over gently. Sprinkle the minced garlic into the pan and spread it evenly. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, making sure the fillets are done.
05 - Pour the lemon juice over the fillets and scatter the parsley on top. Keep them in the pan for about a minute to take in the flavors.
06 - Move the fish to serving plates. Spoon the garlicky butter over the top and add a lemon wedge to each plate for some final zest.

# Notes:

01 - Go for fresh salmon for the best flavor.
02 - Pairs perfectly with steamed veggies or rice.
03 - You can use either fresh or dried parsley for this.
