Seafood Boil Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups salted butter.
02 - 1 diced onion.
03 - 8 minced garlic cloves.
04 - 1/4 cup Cajun spices.
05 - 2 tablespoons Old Bay.
06 - 1 tablespoon onion powder.
07 - 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
08 - 1 tablespoon chili flakes.
09 - 1 cup of chicken broth.
10 - 2 tablespoons of fresh-squeezed lemon juice.
11 - 2 tablespoons chopped parsley.

# Instructions:

01 - Over medium heat, use a large skillet to melt the butter.
02 - Sauté the onion for 5 minutes. Toss in garlic and cook about 3 minutes more.
03 - Stir in the spices and the sugar. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
04 - Add the chicken broth, let it boil, then turn it down to a simmer for 6-8 minutes until it thickens.
05 - Take it off the heat and mix in the parsley and lemon juice.

01 - Feel free to tweak the spice level however you'd like.
02 - Chop onions and garlic extra small for the best texture.
03 - Double-check if your Cajun mix has salt before adding more.
