Turn your oven on to 175°C (350°F).

Cover a 9-inch pan with parchment paper.

Melt the butter and chocolate together till smooth.

Beat the sugars and eggs for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Slowly add the melted chocolate into the egg mix.

Gently fold in the dry ingredients after sifting.

Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle pecans on top.
