# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - ½ cup sugar (granulated)
02 - ¼ tsp of salt
03 - 1 tsp of baking powder
04 - 1 cup plain flour

05 - 1 large egg
06 - ½ tsp of cotton candy essence (add more if you like strong flavors)
07 - ¼ cup melted butter
08 - 1 tsp vanilla essence
09 - ½ cup of milk

→ Colors & Decoration

10 - A few drops of blue food color
11 - Optional: Cotton candy pieces for garnish
12 - Optional: Whipped frosting for topping
13 - A little pink food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - Warm the oven to 350°F (175°C) and pop liners into the slots of a mini muffin tray.
02 - Mix up the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Keep going till it looks smooth.
03 - In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla, cotton candy flavor, and melted butter. Whisk until it’s mixed well.
04 - Carefully combine the wet mix with the dry mixture. Stir it all together, but don’t go overboard.
05 - Split the batter into two separate bowls. Add pink coloring to one and blue coloring to the other. Gently stir until you’re happy with the colors.
06 - Drop a spoonful of each colored mix into the muffin liners. For a swirled effect, lightly spin the colors with a toothpick.
07 - Bake for 10-12 minutes. They’re ready if a toothpick comes out clean when poked in the middle.
08 - Set on a wire rack to cool off completely. If you like, top with frosting and a sprinkle of cotton candy for a fun touch.
