01 -
Warm the oven to 350°F (175°C) and pop liners into the slots of a mini muffin tray.
02 -
Mix up the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Keep going till it looks smooth.
03 -
In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla, cotton candy flavor, and melted butter. Whisk until it’s mixed well.
04 -
Carefully combine the wet mix with the dry mixture. Stir it all together, but don’t go overboard.
05 -
Split the batter into two separate bowls. Add pink coloring to one and blue coloring to the other. Gently stir until you’re happy with the colors.
06 -
Drop a spoonful of each colored mix into the muffin liners. For a swirled effect, lightly spin the colors with a toothpick.
07 -
Bake for 10-12 minutes. They’re ready if a toothpick comes out clean when poked in the middle.
08 -
Set on a wire rack to cool off completely. If you like, top with frosting and a sprinkle of cotton candy for a fun touch.
