Feta Tomato Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 cups cherry tomatoes
02 - 8 oz pasta of your choice
03 - 8 oz block of feta cheese
04 - 2 cloves minced garlic
05 - 1/3 cup olive oil

→ Seasonings

06 - 2-3 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
07 - 1/4 tsp of dried oregano
08 - 1/4 tsp dried basil
09 - 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C) and let it heat up.
02 - Grab a baking dish and spread out the cherry tomatoes. Place the feta block right in the center, tossing in the garlic too.
03 - Coat everything with olive oil, especially the feta. Sprinkle red pepper flakes, basil, and oregano on top.
04 - Put the dish in your oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. The tomatoes should be soft and juicy, and the feta will turn slightly golden.
05 - While the baking happens, cook your pasta following the package directions. Save around 1/3 cup of the cooking water before draining.
06 - Take the dish out of the oven and stir together the roasted tomatoes and feta. If needed, pour in some of that reserved pasta water to make it a little thinner.
07 - Throw your cooked pasta into the dish and mix well until everything’s coated in the sauce.
08 - Add some freshly chopped basil, mix it gently, and serve right away.

# Notes:

01 - This dish became a sensation on TikTok after a Finnish food blogger (liemessa.fi) shared it.
02 - Any kind of pasta will work here—gluten-free, veggie-based, whole grain, or even low-carb options.
03 - While any feta will do, the best result comes from a block of Bulgarian or Greek feta made from cow's milk.
04 - Add some extra protein by mixing in cooked chicken, shrimp, chickpeas, or even tofu with your pasta.
05 - It’s better eaten fresh, but if needed, you can save leftovers for up to two days in the fridge in a sealed container.
