Easter Candy Cookie Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base & Structure

01 - 14 oz pack of Oreo cookies, crushed into crumbs
02 - 8 oz of cream cheese, brought to room temp for easy mixing
03 - 1/4 cup of soft unsalted butter
04 - 1 cup of powdered sugar, sifted if needed

→ Filling

05 - A 3.4 oz box of instant vanilla-flavored pudding mix
06 - 2 cups of cold milk, straight from the fridge
07 - One 8 oz tub of whipped topping (like Cool Whip), completely thawed

→ Decorations

08 - Pastel chocolate candies (like M&M's), about 1 cup
09 - 1/2 cup of mini Oreo cookies for a fun garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Put the Oreos in a food processor or smash them inside a sealed bag with a rolling pin. Hold back 1/2 cup for a topping and press the rest into the bottom of a 9x13 pan to make the crust.
02 - Whip together the powdered sugar, butter, and cream cheese until it's all smooth. Fold in the Cool Whip gently so it doesn't lose its fluffiness.
03 - In another bowl, stir the pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens. Let it sit for a few minutes, then slowly blend it into the cream cheese mixture until everything looks even.
04 - Spread the combined cream cheese and pudding mixture over your Oreo crust. Sprinkle that saved 1/2 cup of crushed Oreos on top to add texture.
05 - Scatter mini Oreos and colorful candies on the surface. Cover the dish and chill it for at least a couple of hours so the layers set up nicely.

# Notes:

01 - This sweet treat is a no-bake dessert with Oreo crumbs, fluffy cream layers, and a touch of vanilla.
02 - Chilling it for two hours or more will bring out the best flavor and texture.
03 - Make sure your cream cheese is soft to avoid lumps in the mixture.
04 - Serve it cold for the tastiest results!
