Earl Grey Cherry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tea Base

01 - 1 cup of hot water
02 - 1 bag of Earl Grey tea or 1 teaspoon of loose Earl Grey leaves

→ Flavoring Components

03 - Half a cup of milk (use almond, oat, dairy, or anything you like)
04 - 4–5 fresh cherries, halved and with pits removed
05 - 1 cinnamon stick (completely optional)
06 - 1–2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup or adjust the amount to your taste

# Instructions:

01 - Pop the pitted cherries into a small pot, add a splash (2 tablespoons) of water, and cook them on low for a few minutes. Smash them up a bit to get the juices flowing.
02 - Heat one cup of water till it's boiling. Let the Earl Grey steep for a bit (3–5 minutes) before tossing the tea bag or straining out the tea leaves.
03 - Pour your milk into the same pot with the softened cherries. Warm it up on low while stirring so it doesn't stick. If you like, you can throw in a cinnamon stick for an extra kick.
04 - Add the vanilla syrup to the warm milk and cherry mix. Taste it and tweak the sweetness if you need to.
05 - Grab a mug and pour in the tea. Then, strain in the cherry milk mix, mashing the cherries a bit to get all the juice out. Stir it all together. Sip it warm or chill it over ice, and if you're feeling fancy, top it off with a fresh cherry or some cinnamon.

# Notes:

01 - Great to drink hot or poured over ice
02 - Works perfectly with any milk you prefer
