Get your air fryer heated up to 400°F (200°C). Let it run for 5 minutes to warm up.

Cut the chicken breast horizontally into two thinner pieces. Sprinkle both sides with pepper and salt.

Mix together the panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, and oregano in a shallow bowl. Use another bowl to whisk the egg well.

Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mix, letting any extra liquid fall off. Cover it in the panko-Parmesan blend, pressing so it sticks nicely.

Coat your air fryer basket with cooking spray, then lay the breaded chicken inside without piling them on. Spray the tops lightly as well.

Cook in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes. Flip them over halfway through. They're done when golden and the middle hits 165°F (74°C).
