Combine the chestnuts, soy sauce, garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Let it sit in the fridge for a while, anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a wire rack and set it on top of a baking sheet.

Take a chunk of bacon and wrap it around each chestnut. Hold it together with a toothpick.

Let the bacon-wrapped chestnuts cook on the rack for about 25 minutes.

Stir together the rest of the brown sugar, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce. Cover the chestnuts with this mixture.

Pop them back in the oven for another 20 minutes, or until the bacon is nice and crunchy. Sprinkle parsley on top to finish.
