03 - 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
04 - Some oil for frying.
05 - 4 ounces softened cream cheese.
06 - 1/2 cup of whipping cream.
07 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla.
09 - A large apple, chopped up.
10 - 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to add to filling.
11 - 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
12 - 2 2/3 tablespoons brown sugar (for filling).
13 - 1/2 cup of water.
14 - A tiny sprinkle of nutmeg.

# Instructions:

01 - Grab tortillas and cut into 3.5-inch circles. Stir together cinnamon and brown sugar.
02 - Fry the circles in oil for 10-15 seconds a side. Shape and fry until crispy and golden, then coat with the cinnamon mixture.
03 - Combine water, spice mix, cornstarch, and sugar. Heat until it thickens. Stir in the apples and vanilla, cooking for around 10 minutes.
04 - Mix the cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and cream cheese together until it turns fluffy and thick.
05 - Add the cream mixture into the shells and finish by layering the apple mixture over the top.

# Notes:

01 - You can bake the shells if frying isn't for you.
02 - Make them a day ahead—they still taste great.
03 - Switch the filling with other fruits if you'd like.
