Churros Cinnamon Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Extra oil to fry your dough balls.
02 - 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
03 - 1 cup of water.
04 - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ground.
05 - 1 cup of plain flour.
06 - 1/2 cup of regular sugar.
07 - 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the cinnamon with 1/2 cup sugar until blended in a bowl or bag. Leave it aside.
02 - Pour oil into a fryer or deep pot, heating until it's 375°F. Keep the oil level about 2 1/2 inches deep.
03 - In a saucepan, toss in the water, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons of oil. Bring it to a boil.
04 - Take the pan off the heat. Stir in the flour until it changes into a ball of dough.
05 - Let the dough cool enough to touch. Roll it gently into balls about the size of walnuts.
06 - Drop 3 or 4 balls into the hot oil and cook them until golden and crispy.
07 - Take the hot fried balls and shake them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.

# Notes:

01 - A cookie scoop makes all the balls the same size.
02 - Pair them with caramel, Nutella, chocolate sauce, or dulce de leche for dipping.
03 - Handle the dough softly—just enough to shape it into a ball.
