Chili Cheese Snack Chips (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 10 corn tortillas (about 5½ inches).
02 - 1 tablespoon of powdered cheddar.
03 - 1 teaspoon of chili seasoning.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon onion granules.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus a bit more for sprinkling.
09 - 16.9 oz bottle of avocado oil, for frying.

# Instructions:

01 - Let tortillas sit on paper towels for about half an hour to dry out.
02 - Slice each tortilla into six small triangles.
03 - Combine cheese powder with the spices and mix them well.
04 - Get a large pan and warm the oil to around 360°F.
05 - Cook the tortilla pieces in hot oil for roughly three minutes in small batches.
06 - Place the fried pieces on paper towels to soak up extra oil.
07 - While still warm, throw a pinch of salt on the chips.
08 - Move the fried chips into a big bowl, then sprinkle the cheese seasoning over them.
09 - Gently stir or shake to make sure the chips are evenly coated.
10 - Do the same thing with the rest of the tortillas.

# Notes:

01 - Yields about 60 chips in total.
02 - Store leftovers for up to three days.
03 - Keep chips in a zip-top bag once seasoned.
04 - Enjoy them with guacamole or salsa.
