Cheesy Pizza Sliders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 12 Hawaiian rolls, connected together
02 - 24 slices pepperoni
03 - 6 oz of cooked Italian sausage

→ Cheese and Sauce

04 - 1 cup pizza or marinara sauce, split in half, with some extra for dipping later
05 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella (use half first, keep the rest for layering)
06 - 3 tbsp fresh-grated Parmesan cheese

→ Garlic Butter Topping

07 - 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
10 - 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
11 - A tiny pinch of crushed chili flakes

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil or parchment and give it a quick spray of cooking oil. Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain off any excess grease.
02 - Using a serrated knife, cut the rolls horizontally through the center while keeping them connected. Move the bottom section to your prepared pan.
03 - Spread 1/2 cup of sauce evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Add 1 cup of mozzarella, spread out the cooked sausage and pepperoni evenly, and sprinkle on the remaining mozzarella cheese.
04 - Spread the other 1/2 cup of sauce generously on the inside of the roll tops. Place the tops back on for a complete sandwich.
05 - Stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, Parmesan, Italian herbs, and chili flakes. Brush this mixture all over the tops of the rolls, then sprinkle parsley on top.
06 - Cover the pan with foil and bake for about 15–20 minutes, just until the cheese is melted. Remove the foil and bake 5 more minutes to crisp up the tops. Cut apart into sliders and serve warm with extra dipping sauce.

# Notes:

01 - Throw in extras like pineapple, bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives to mix things up.
02 - Build the sliders without separating the rolls beforehand to make it quicker.
03 - These work great as a party snack or game day treat.
