01 -
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line up a 9x13 baking pan with parchment or foil, then spritz it lightly with spray oil. Brown the sausage in a skillet, drain any grease, and set aside.
02 -
Using a serrated knife, cut through the middle of the rolls horizontally, but don’t separate them. Place the bottom half into the prepared pan.
03 -
Spread half of the sauce evenly on the bottom rolls. Sprinkle one cup of mozzarella over the sauce. Add the sausage and pepperoni slices, then cover with the rest of the mozzarella.
04 -
Coat the insides of the top half of the rolls with the second half of the sauce. Place it back over the cheese and meat layer to complete the sandwich.
05 -
Stir together the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian herbs, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Brush this mixture across the top of the rolls, then sprinkle with the parsley.
06 -
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15–20 minutes, just until the cheese melts completely. Then remove the foil and bake for 5 more minutes to brown the tops a bit. Cut into pieces and serve warm with extra sauce for dipping.
