Garlic Butter Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped finely
02 - 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
03 - 4 salmon portions, each weighing roughly 6 ounces

→ Flavorings and Toppings

04 - Juice from half a lemon (around 1 tablespoon)
05 - Chopped parsley: 1 tablespoon fresh or 1 teaspoon dried
06 - Salt and black pepper, adjusted to your liking
07 - Lemon slices for decorating

# Instructions:

01 - Dry the salmon with paper towels, then sprinkle salt and pepper generously on each side.
02 - Warm up butter in a wide pan over medium-high heat. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t brown.
03 - If the fillets have skin, put them skin-side down into the hot butter. Leave them alone for 4-5 minutes so the bottom crisps up nicely.
04 - Flip the salmon gently and sprinkle the chopped garlic throughout the pan. Cook another 3-4 minutes until the salmon’s fully cooked.
05 - Squeeze in the lemon juice and scatter parsley over everything. Let it all warm together for one minute more.
06 - Move the salmon onto plates, drizzle the buttery garlic sauce on top, and add lemon slices for serving.

# Notes:

01 - Pick fresh salmon for tastier results.
02 - Great with a side of rice or steamed veggies.
03 - Use fresh parsley if you can, but dried works too.
