Broccoli Cheese Crockpot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups of cheddar, shredded.
02 - 1/2 cup chopped celery.
03 - 2 spoons of butter.
04 - 4 cups of chicken broth.
05 - 4 cups of broccoli, diced.
06 - 1 spoon of salt.
07 - 1/4 cup of cornstarch.
08 - 1 cup of thick cream.
09 - 2 spoons of minced garlic.
10 - 1/2 cup diced onion.
11 - 1 spoon of pepper.

# Instructions:

01 - Chop broccoli, celery, and onion into little bits. Toss them in the slow cooker with butter, garlic, salt, and pepper.
02 - Stir cornstarch into the broth until it’s smooth. Add it to the pot.
03 - Put the lid on and let it go on low for about 4-6 hours. Veggies should be soft.
04 - Stir in the heavy cream and cheddar. Turn the heat to high and cook for 30 minutes.
05 - Mix it all again and dish it out while it’s steamy.

# Notes:

01 - Go vegetarian by swapping chicken broth with veggie stock.
02 - Sprinkle on extra cheddar or bread crumbs for a crunchy topping.
