Honey Garlic Salmon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredient

01 - 4 pieces of salmon (about 6 oz each)

→ Honey-Garlic Glaze

02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - 3 minced garlic cloves
04 - 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
05 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
06 - 3 tablespoons butter, melted

→ Seasonings & Garnish

07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1 teaspoon of paprika
10 - Fresh parsley, chopped (1 teaspoon)
11 - Optional: lemon slices for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up your oven to 400°F (200°C) and get a baking sheet ready by covering it with foil or parchment paper.
02 - Lay the salmon fillets down with the skin side touching the lined baking sheet.
03 - Mix the butter, honey, garlic, Dijon, lemon juice, pepper, salt, and paprika in a small bowl until smooth.
04 - Coat the tops of the salmon generously with the glaze so they’re completely covered.
05 - Pop the salmon into the oven for 12-15 minutes. It’s done when it easily flakes with a fork and hits 145°F internally.
06 - Turn on your broiler for 2-3 minutes after baking if you’d like a golden, caramelized top.
07 - Sprinkle parsley on top and serve right away, adding lemon slices if you’d like.

# Notes:

01 - Wild-caught salmon has a deeper, more robust flavor.
02 - For a kick, sprinkle in some cayenne pepper to spice up the glaze.
03 - Goes great with a fresh salad, creamy mashed potatoes, or oven-roasted veggies.
