Brussels Sprouts Bacon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 dozen Brussels sprouts, halved and cleaned up.
02 - 1/2 pound of bacon, chopped into tiny pieces.
03 - Pepper and salt to your liking.

# Instructions:

01 - In a pan over medium-high, crisp up the bacon pieces. Pull them out and let them drain on some paper towels, but keep the grease in the pan.
02 - Toss Brussels sprouts into that leftover grease, giving them a good stir to coat evenly. Pop on a lid and let them cook gently on medium-low for roughly 5 minutes.
03 - Throw the bacon back with the sprouts and stir around. Let them cook uncovered until the sprouts soften to how you like them. For super soft sprouts, cover again briefly.
04 - Sprinkle in salt and pepper as you prefer. Serve while still hot.

01 - The size of your sprouts changes how long they’ll need to cook.
02 - Covering the pan helps make the sprouts even softer.
03 - Tastes best when eaten right after cooking.
