In a pan over medium-high, crisp up the bacon pieces. Pull them out and let them drain on some paper towels, but keep the grease in the pan.

Toss Brussels sprouts into that leftover grease, giving them a good stir to coat evenly. Pop on a lid and let them cook gently on medium-low for roughly 5 minutes.

Throw the bacon back with the sprouts and stir around. Let them cook uncovered until the sprouts soften to how you like them. For super soft sprouts, cover again briefly.

Sprinkle in salt and pepper as you prefer. Serve while still hot.
