Peel the plantain by slicing its skin lengthwise, then remove it carefully.

Slice the plantain into angled pieces about one inch thick.

Lay plantain chunks flat in your air fryer basket. Brush them well with avocado oil.

Cook them at 390°F for 15 to 20 minutes total.

After 7 minutes, flip each piece once you see the bottom turning golden.

Once the plantains are done, use tongs to remove them. Sprinkle salt on top if that’s your thing.
