Swamp Soup Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cans of seasoned turnip greens (14.5 oz each), leave the liquid
02 - 8 cups of chicken stock
03 - 1 pound of smoked sausage, cut into pieces
04 - 1 cup of diced sweet onion
05 - 2 cups of already-cooked short pasta like ditalini
06 - 2 cans of great Northern beans (15.5 oz each), rinsed and drained
07 - 2 minced garlic cloves
08 - 1 packet of dry Knorr Vegetable soup mix

# Instructions:

01 - Heat up a big soup pot on medium. Toss in the sausage chunks and onion bits. Cook 3-4 minutes until the sausage gets a little browned and the onion softens.
02 - Throw the minced garlic into the pot and give it a stir. Let it cook for about a minute.
03 - Pour in the soup packet, chicken stock, beans, and turnip greens. Stir everything together to combine.
04 - Crank the heat to get it boiling, then turn it down really low. Keep it cooking gently until the soup mix absorbs and the greens are soft.
05 - Right before you’re ready to eat (about 10 minutes), add the cooked pasta. Taste the soup first before adding any extra salt or pepper because the greens and mix already bring seasoning.
06 - Dish it up nice and warm. If you’ve got hot sauce, sprinkle some on. A side of cornbread or hush puppies would pair perfectly.

# Notes:

01 - Try the soup first to check flavor—packaged ingredients might already make it salty enough.
02 - Pair it with some hush puppies or cornbread for a nice touch.
