Swamp Soup Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups cooked pasta (small shapes like ditalini or similar work best)
02 - 2 cans (15.5 oz each) Northern beans, rinsed and drained
03 - 8 cups chicken stock
04 - 1 package dry Knorr Vegetable Soup mix
05 - 1 pound chopped smoked sausage
06 - 1 cup diced sweet onion
07 - 2 cans (14.5 oz each) pre-seasoned turnip greens, including liquid from the cans
08 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the sausage and onions into a big soup pot over medium heat. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring now and then, until the sausage gets a little crispy and the onions begin to soften up.
02 - Throw in the garlic and give it a stir. Let it cook for one minute, just until it smells amazing.
03 - Pour in the chicken stock along with the beans, greens (including their liquid), and soup packet. Stir it all together well.
04 - Crank the heat to bring it to a boil, then drop it down to a low simmer. Let it gently bubble away until the greens soften and the soup mix blends smoothly into the broth.
05 - Toss in the cooked pasta about 10 minutes before you’re ready to serve. Taste the soup before adjusting with salt or pepper since it might already be seasoned nicely.
06 - Scoop the soup into bowls. If you want, throw on a bit of hot sauce and pair it with cornbread or hush puppies.

# Notes:

01 - Taste it before adding salt—pre-packaged items might have plenty of seasoning already.
02 - Pair with hush puppies or cornbread for a perfect match.
