Alabama Pecan Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup vegetable oil
02 - 4 large eggs
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 1 cup packed light brown sugar
05 - 2 cups self-rising flour
06 - 1 cup granulated sugar

→ Mix-ins

07 - 1 cup chopped pecans

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly coat a 9×13-inch dish with oil or spray.
02 - Mix together the brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and oil in a big bowl until smooth.
03 - Slowly stir in the self-rising flour. Toss in the vanilla while mixing, but stop as soon as it’s blended.
04 - Add the pecans and stir them in evenly so every bite gets some.
05 - Pour the mix into the greased dish. Let it bake for 30-35 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when a toothpick in the middle comes out clean.
