Pears Honey Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1/4 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
03 - 2 tablespoons honey
04 - 4 pears, firm but ripe, cored and cut into halves
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, leaves only
06 - Salt to your liking
07 - Pepper to your liking
08 - 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

09 - Walnuts, chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to warm up.
02 - Cut the pears in half and take out the cores to make small wells inside.
03 - Arrange the pear halves, cut side facing up, in a baking dish. Fill the hollowed centers with chopped cranberries and crumbled feta. Pour olive oil over the top.
04 - Put the dish in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pears become soft and the cheese starts to melt.
05 - Take the dish out of the oven, drizzle honey generously over the pears, then sprinkle fresh thyme. Add salt and pepper to taste.
06 - Sprinkle some chopped walnuts on top if you'd like. These are great served warm as either a dessert or a light starter.
