Iowa Party Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 (10 oz) bag of tortilla chips shaped like small scoops

→ Filling

02 - 1 (4 oz) tin of green chiles (mild or spicy, your choice)
03 - 1 large egg, room temperature
04 - 1 (15 oz) can of sweet corn, drained
05 - 8 oz of mozzarella cheese, shredded
06 - 1 (8 oz) brick of softened cream cheese

→ Seasonings

07 - 1 teaspoon of salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
09 - 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

→ Topping

10 - 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, finely grated

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven hot—set it to 425°F (220°C). Cover baking sheets with parchment or grease them lightly. Place chips with the hollow side facing up.
02 - In a big bowl, toss in the cream cheese, mozzarella, egg, corn, chiles, salt, pepper, and garlic. Stir it all together until smooth.
03 - Spoon about a tablespoon of your cheesy mix into each chip.
04 - Dust the tops with Parmesan cheese. Pop it in the oven for 13-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
05 - Dish it out while it’s still hot and gooey.

# Notes:

01 - Tastes best when eaten right away while the cheese is still melty.
02 - Choose your heat level by using mild or spicy green chiles.
