Green Beans with Bacon (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - Two-pound can of green beans, drained well

→ Meat

02 - Half a dozen bacon slices, chopped into bits

→ Aromatics

03 - One clove of garlic, finely chopped
04 - A third of a cup of diced onion

→ Seasoning

05 - Half a teaspoon of black pepper
06 - A teaspoon of sugar

→ Liquid

07 - Half a cup of chicken stock

→ Miscellaneous

08 - Two spoonfuls of butter

# Instructions:

01 - In a wide skillet, fry up the bacon chunks over medium-high heat until they’re fully crispy.
02 - Take out the cooked bacon and pour off the leftover grease.
03 - Toss the green beans, crispy bacon, onion, garlic, butter, chicken broth, and sugar into the pan.
04 - Turn the heat to medium-low once it starts bubbling gently.
05 - Keep the pan covered and let them cook for about ten minutes, stirring occasionally. Stop when the beans are tender.
06 - Scoop it into a bowl or serving dish, then dig in.
