01 -
Warm up the olive oil in a big pot over medium heat. Toss in the garlic and onions, stirring until they’re soft and smell amazing—this takes about 3-4 minutes.
02 -
Throw the ground beef into the pot. Break it up with a wooden spoon and cook until it’s no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. If there’s too much grease, drain it out.
03 -
Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Sprinkle with paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then stir everything together well.
04 -
Let the mix come to a simmer. Then drop the heat, cover the pot, and leave it on low for 10 minutes.
05 -
Add the macaroni and stir so it’s covered with liquid. Let it bubble on medium-low heat, not covered, for 10-15 minutes while stirring every now and then, until it’s nice and soft.
06 -
Taste and tweak the seasonings if you want. Turn off the heat and let the food sit for 5 minutes to settle before digging in.
