01 -
Slice each chicken breast in half, then place one piece between two sheets of parchment or plastic wrap on a cutting board. Flatten it gently to about half an inch thick with a meat mallet. Repeat for the rest.
02 -
Sprinkle both sides of the flattened chicken with pepper, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder.
03 -
In a bowl, combine the eggs, cayenne, and your favorite hot sauce. Stir everything until smooth. Set aside.
04 -
Mix together the breadcrumbs, grated cheese, and cayenne pepper in another bowl.
05 -
Take a piece of chicken, dip it completely in the egg mix, shaking off extra liquid. Press both sides into the breadcrumb mix until well coated. Repeat with all.
06 -
Warm the peanut oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Test it with a wooden spoon tip—if bubbles show up around it, you're good to go. Carefully fry the chicken in smaller batches, flipping after about 3 minutes per side until golden. Set on a rack when done.
07 -
Heat up the hot sauce and honey together in a tiny pan for a minute.
08 -
Drizzle the hot honey over the crispy chicken, sprinkle parsley on top if you like, and serve while warm.
