→ Fruit Ingredients

08 - Drizzle of maple syrup
09 - 1 cup water, added during baking
10 - 4 medium apples, cored and halved

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to warm it up.
02 - Stir together the oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the melted butter until crumbly and blended.
03 - Slice apples in half top to bottom. Scoop out the core and stem using a knife or spoon to carve a hollow in each half.
04 - Arrange the apple halves in a baking dish. Pack the oat topping generously into the hollowed centers of each apple. Pour water into the dish. Don't forget the maple syrup drizzle over the stuffed apples before baking for about 1 hour, or until soft.
05 - When baking's done, add a bit more syrup on top before serving. They're tasty as-is or paired with vanilla ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - Peek in partway through cooking and see if the water's drying up. If it is, sprinkle in 1/4 cup more, keeping it from getting soggy.
02 - The yummy juices at the bottom should have a saucy texture once the apples are done.
