Tomatoes, Onions & Cucumbers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Vegetables

01 - 1/2 cucumber, sliced thin
02 - 1/2 red onion, sliced thin
03 - 1 pint of cherry tomatoes

→ Pickling Liquid

04 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
05 - 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
06 - 1 cup white vinegar
07 - 1/2 cup plain water
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar

→ Herbs

10 - 1/4 cup freshly chopped dill

# Instructions:

01 - Dry and rinse your cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and onion. Slice the cucumber and onion into thin pieces.
02 - Mix the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, oregano, and pepper flakes in a small pot. Heat it over medium until the sugar and salt dissolve while stirring. Let it boil.
03 - In a container or jar, throw in the tomatoes, onion, and cucumber. Pour the pickling liquid, making sure the veggies are completely covered.
04 - Add the dill into the mixture and give it a good stir.
05 - Close the lid of the jar tightly and pop it in the fridge. Let it sit for at least 2 hours or as long as 2 weeks. The flavor gets better with time.
06 - Use the pickled tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers as a topping or snack.
