Marinated Cheese & Salami (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 1 cup salami cubes (high quality preferred)
02 - ½ cup of small pickles (cornichons)
03 - 6 oz of Havarti cheese, cut into ½-inch chunks
04 - ½ a cup of tangy sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil
05 - ½ cup of Castelvetrano olives without pits, diced

→ Dressing

06 - 2 tablespoons of roughly chopped fresh basil leaves
07 - 1 cup of your favorite vinaigrette or Garlic Expressions dressing

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a medium-sized bowl and toss together the cheese cubes, chopped olives, salami pieces, oil-packed tomatoes, and small pickles. Give the mix a gentle stir until everything is spread out evenly.
02 - Take about 2 tablespoons of fresh basil, chop it up roughly, and add it to the mix. It'll add a fresh, sweet touch and make the dish more colorful.
03 - Pour in a cup of Garlic Expressions vinaigrette or any Italian-style dressing you like. This marinade will coat everything with tanginess and a garlicky kick.
04 - Using a big spoon, softly mix it all together until the dressing coats each ingredient. Once done, move the mixture into a mason jar or seal the bowl with plastic wrap.
05 - Put the covered bowl or jar in the fridge. You can eat it right away, but it tastes much better if you let it sit for at least 1–2 hours, or even overnight. This resting time lets the flavors really come together.

# Notes:

01 - Creamy Havarti, bold salami, and tangy pickles come together in this effortless appetizer that's ideal for parties.
02 - Keeps well for up to 7 days in a sealed container in the fridge, making it a great dish to prepare before an event.
03 - No cornichons? Swap them for any small tart pickles you prefer.
04 - Castelvetrano olives can be replaced with mild black or green olives if needed.
