Dump Rice Chex cereal into a big mixing bowl.

Combine the melted butter with lemon juice and half of the lemon zest. Drizzle over the cereal and gently stir to coat every piece.

Put white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and zap for 1 minute. Stir it, then heat in 30-second bursts, mixing after each round, until it's smooth.

Pour the melted candy onto the cereal. Toss it gently until every piece is covered evenly.

Sprinkle 1 cup of powdered sugar over the mix and toss lightly. Add the rest (1 to 1 1/2 cups) until you've got your ideal coating.

Put the mix in a serving dish. Sprinkle with the other half teaspoon of lemon zest for a pop of color and flavor.
