Mix the sugar and 1 cup of water in a small pot. Cook it over medium heat, stirring often until the sugar has fully melted into the water. Turn off the heat and let the syrup cool down for a bit.

Pour the fresh lemon juice, cooled syrup, blue raspberry syrup, and 4 cups of cold water into a big pitcher. Stir until it's all blended well.

Optional: Drip a little blue food coloring into the lemonade if you'd like it more vibrant. Slowly add more until it looks perfect to you.

Give it a try and tweak the flavor as needed. Add extra sugar or water if you'd like it sweeter or milder.

Pop the lemonade into the refrigerator and let it chill for at least half an hour, or until you're ready to serve it.

When it's time to enjoy, pour the cold lemonade into glasses filled with ice. Add fresh raspberries and a lemon slice on top if you'd like!
