Apple Caramel Layer Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
02 - 1½ (20-ounce) cans apple pie filling
03 - ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

→ Base and Layers

04 - 1 box cinnamon graham crackers

→ Pudding Mixture

05 - 2 cups cold milk
06 - ½ cup powdered sugar
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
08 - 2 (3.4-ounce) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
09 - 2 cups heavy cream

→ Topping

10 - Store-bought caramel topping, caramel dip, or homemade caramel sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Dump the apple pie filling into a bowl and snip the apple chunks into smaller pieces using scissors. Toss in the ground cinnamon and nutmeg, mix well, and leave it aside for later.
02 - In a big bowl, combine the vanilla pudding mix, powdered sugar, and cold milk. Throw in the heavy cream and vanilla extract next. With a hand mixer, keep whipping until it's nice and thick, which should take about 3 or 4 minutes.
03 - Grab a 9×13-inch dish, then lay down the first layer of cinnamon graham crackers. Spread half the apple mixture on top, followed by half of the pudding mix. Repeat those steps to make a second layer and finish up with graham crackers at the top.
04 - Heat up the caramel topping in the microwave until it's easier to pour. Gently drizzle it over the last graham cracker layer and spread it out so it covers evenly.
05 - Set it in the fridge for a good 4 to 6 hours to firm up. If you can wait overnight, it'll taste even better.
